Yesterday, we were reminded that raising a child is not the responsibility of parents alone. It is a shared commitment of families, educators, local leaders, volunteers, and every member of the community who chooses to care.
Through TAYÂ: A Children’s Mission, we spent the day with the Day Care learners of Brgy. Balabago, Jaro. From storytelling to classic Larong Pinoy created moments of curiosity, friendship, and joyful learning. To support our young learners, school supplies were distributed. We also turned over a printer to the Day Care Center, a contribution that will help teachers prepare learning materials and enhance classroom activities for their pupils.
Our heartfelt thanks to Brgy. Captain Hon. Antonio Jacoba Jr., Brgy. Kagawad Hon. Rosemarie Berico, Chairperson of the Committee on Education, and Day Care Worker Ma’am Colleen Kim Aguilar for their warm welcome and steadfast support.
We likewise thank our partners—the University of San Agustin – Sigma Chi Fraternity and Mu Sigma Phi Sorority, together with Girl City Councilor Belladona Gulfo—for sharing in this mission of investing in our children’s future.
When a community chooses to invest in its children, it invests in its own future.
