Yesterday, June 30, 2026, volunteers once again gathered at the Iloilo City Eco Park in Brgy. Hinactacan, La Paz to dedicate their time and effort toward keeping our shared environment clean. Through the continued commitment of our partners and volunteers, we collected 80 kilograms of waste, helping protect the area’s mangrove ecosystem and surrounding waterways.
This initiative would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our partners:
• Brgy. Officials
• Brgy. Health Workers
• CENRO Iloilo City
• Bureau of Fire Protection
• MORE Power
• Philippine National Police (ICPO/PRO6)
• University of San Agustin Organizations (USA Student Government – Environment Advocacy Ministry; National Service Reserve Corps; Mountaineering Society)
– Residents of Brgy. Hinactacan
Your continued presence month after month is what makes UGSAD a growing community of people committed to caring for our city.
To everyone who joined us, thank you for showing up, lending a hand, and proving that environmental stewardship is a responsibility best shared. We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces at our next UGSAD. Whether you’re joining for the first time or returning as one of our longtime partners, UGSAD will always be open to everyone who wants to make a difference.
See you next month!
