For another month, our Office, through UGSAD, brought together volunteers from different sectors for a Coastal Clean-up Drive on September 26, 2026, in Brgy. Sto. Niรฑo Sur, Arevalo, Iloilo City.

From the shoreline to the water itself, volunteers did their part in collecting the waste found along the area. A special mention to the ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ ๐ช๐ฎ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐บ๐ฎ๐ป / ๐๐น๐ผ๐ถ๐น๐ผ ๐ฆ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐จ๐ฝ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฑ๐น๐ฒ volunteers, who took to the water on their paddleboards and helped retrieve trash directly from the waterways.

This monthโs clean-up also included volunteer trash data collection, with each group documenting the types of waste they encountered. These records can help provide useful information for understanding the waste found in our coastal areas and support future environmental efforts.
