TAYÂ in Brgy. Tagbac, Jaro!

Yesterday, TAYÂ: A Children’s Mission spent a fun-filled morning with the Day Care learners of Brgy. Tagbac, Jaro.

The children enjoyed storytelling and Larong Pinoy, received school supplies, and took home stuffed toys as prizes! We also donated kiddie chairs to the Day Care Center to help make their learning space more comfortable.

Our heartfelt thanks to the Brgy. Officials headed by PB Hon. Mary Jane Jecara for their support; the Angela Celis Memorial School Principal Ma’am Ellen Guillano for warmly welcoming us, allowing us to use the school gym as our venue and supporting the activity; and most especially to their Day Care Worker, Ma’am Mary Ann Labinghisa, for warmly assisting the children, helping facilitate the activities, and making sure they were comfortable and engaged throughout the afternoon.

We are also grateful to the USA Sigma Chi Fraternity and Mu Sigma Phi Sorority for once again joining TAYÂ, making time for the children, and helping facilitate the activities. Thank you as well to the generous donors of the stuffed toys and to Mayor Raisa Treñas for providing snacks and for her continued support for TAYÂ.

And to the parents who were present, thank you for being part of the afternoon. TAYÂ is made more meaningful when the whole community comes together—parents, educators, volunteers, and partners—tanan nagaTAYA para sa mas maayo nga bwasdamlag sang mga bata.
